Pet care experience
I am a dog ENTHUSIAST and tend to spend more time with dogs than I do humans; animals are pure and innocent, and deserve all the love and care we can give. I got my first cats at 4 years old, and my first dogs at age 8. The dogs quickly became my best friends, and rescue became a life long passion of mine. At the age of 12 I started regularly bringing home dogs I found on the streets (my parents LOVED it). In my adult life official dog rescue became a hobby. I always adopt rescues and have been through multiple behavior modification trainings with dogs who were abused and neglected (including two of my own dogs in the past). I therefore have a wealth of knowledge and experience working with dogs who are at all stages of aggression/reactivity with other animals and/or people, as well as dogs at all activity levels and sizes. I am very comfortable meeting your dog wherever they are at, and am experienced with things such as body blocking on a leash/staying outside of reactivity zones in public (if they are at that point), sideways approaches; from all these trainings, I am confident in my knowledge of dog body language. Your dog's safety will always be my top priority! Ultimately, seeing dogs happy is what makes me happy, and my girls are absolutely loving all the friends they've been making since I joined Rover. It's a win-win. We are a very dog friendly household and happy to accommodate any special needs your pet(s) may have. I also have experience with cats, caged animals, and some farm animals.

Corrine is absolutely amazing! She is always our go to when we need someone to watch our dog and our dog always has the best time!! This time around we also ran into some travel delays and she was super flexible and kind. Would recommend to anyone and everyone!
All we can say is "AWESOME"! Corinne took such great care of our Lola and us! We have only used PetStreet Boarding because that is where our veterinarian is and on site if something ever happed while we were away. Lola has a special need in that she was an only puppy in her litter and has a great need to socialize with other dogs and learn proper etiquette. Although she was well cared for at PetStreet there was not much simulation or any type of interaction for her other then being taken out four times a day to relieve herself and to be feed. She arrive back home into our care somewhat stressed after too many days there. We were determined to find a better fit for her on our next outing. Corinne was the perfect fit for us. We were so happy to have found her with Rover. We first did a play date to see if it was going to be a fit. Her house was roomy, clean, lots of toys, dog beds in the front room and blankets on the sofa for the dogs if that is where they wanted to stretch out. Corinne has a great love for dogs and very knowledgeable in handling dogs. Corinne was very understanding of Lola's special challenges and her need to socialize with other dogs in a safe way. She got to meet both Petter Potts and Keeley. Who she got along with beautifully. Lola was treated so well by Corinne and her two girls. Corinne updated with lots of photos and videos and text messages. Lola was comfortable enough to sleep in the same bed with Corinne and her two girls starting the second night. Lola got to play a lot outdoors in the big yard and even learned to use the doggy dog. When she returned home she was calm and not stressed out at all. Corinne is my number one choice in finding care for our beloved Lola! We highly recommend her!!!
She was a great option for our pups. She was flexible with our schedule. Our pups loved staying with her. We will definitely board our pups with her again.

I have a 3 bedroom home, with a large dog door to a fully privacy-fenced back yard. The backyard is quite large and all grass. I do shut the dog door and leave the dogs inside anytime I am away from the home. I allow my dogs on the couch and beds but am happy to follow whatever you normally do with your pets. When I leave the house, your dog is welcome to hang out with my two girls, or I am able to separate them for some alone time at your preference. I will do my absolute best to stick to your pet's regular routine!

A typical day
My home is FULL of dog toys and balls, and we also enjoy walks/runs in the neighborhood. There is a huge park less than a 10 minute walk away, and lots of deer in the neighborhood as well. If you're comfortable with it, we are regulars at McAllister Dog Park and Hops & Hounds. I spend most of my time at home in the backyard with the dogs. We also have snuffle mats and other interactive indoor doggy toys for the hot summer or rainy days.

Availability
I am home all day Friday through Sunday, and Monday until the afternoon time. Your pet will be very well attended to on a long-weekend stay with me! I work away from my home Monday through Thursday in the afternoons and evenings for up to 7 hours (2pm-9pm).
