Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Corinne. I am a recent graduate of Central Michigan University where I majored in photojournalism. Ever since I was young I’ve had a deep passion of caring for all sorts of animals (cats, dogs, hamsters, and even frogs!). I’ve watched over my neighbors dogs and cats while they’ve been away, and I even have 2 cats of my own named Loki and Frosty! I’ve volunteered at animal shelters/sanctuaries, such as the Best Friends Animal Society in Utah. I especially love working with pitbulls; they’re the most misunderstood dog breed out there. I consistently work with a pitbull/boxer mix named Biscuit who is high energy but completely lovable! I can’t wait to work with your pet(s)! They will be in great hands if you allow me to care for them!

While I am unable to board pets (due to my 2 cats), I love to care for animals in their own home! I believe that it’s important for your pets to experience the least amount of change as possible, so staying in their own environment will be less stressful for them (and you!). With that being said, I am willing to stay with your pet(s) while you’re away!

Before watching your pet, it’s great to have all the information available on taking care of them. For that reason, I like to do a meet & greet before accepting the service. Knowing their routine, behavior, diet and any other special needs is essential! I also ask that I have a direct line of contact with the owner in case of any questions or concerns.
A typical day
I love to take dogs out on walks throughout the day-usually throughout the neighborhood. And if you’re a member of a local dog park, even better! This allows your dog to socialize with others and get all their energy out. They’ll be worn out by the end of the day!

Availability
As of now, I have completely open availability until May. I work seasonally and will be heading back to Alaska for the summer. Until then, I have all my time to focus on your pet(s)!
