Hi! My name is Corinne and I am a rising senior at UC Davis studying Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior and Global Disease Biology. I absolutely love animals and have been pet sitting on and off since I was 7 years old, mainly for dogs and cats. As a child, I had two hamsters. I've also had a large freshwater aquarium for 10 years and backyard chickens for 5 years. And, I currently have a dog at home in the bay. She is a Doberman who we rescued at the beginning of the pandemic, and she has taught me so much about caring for dogs (including administering medication, training on (and off) leash with various types of collars/harnesses, pleasing picky eaters, handling separation anxiety, overcoming fear from trauma, etc.). I have also fostered two puppies here in Davis from ages 5 to 8 weeks, which gave me practice with potty training, cleaning stains, and calming down young puppies. Furthermore, I have been helping to babysit my friend’s dog here since she was 9 weeks old (she is now 2). I unfortunately don't have any of my own pets in Davis and am trying to increase my income, so I am eager to take on almost any pet sitting job :)
