Corina is very nice, charming. I required her to stay at my home so my dog was not alone overnight. No problem with her being gone during the day if she had a job, school, or other responsibilities, but dog was to go outside when she was gone. Additional duties included putting out food and water for a feral cat, changing the hummingbird feeder, and watering my potted plants, 17 in all. When I returned, more than one neighbor advised me their families were often disturbed at night because my dog was outside, crying. One took pictures which have dates and times showing incidents occurred as late at 4:05 a.m. I found there was no water outside in the pet dishes and some water in a terra cota saucer, which a neighbor reported she had tried to add via her hose, was green and scummy, not possible for drinking or anything else. Of my 17 potted plants, five were OK. I have had to cut my mint back to the ground because it appears dead and I have done same with one of the Mexican Petunias because the foliage was totally dry and breaking in my hand. My three rose plants were very stressed as were the two vinca plants. The lemongrass was dying. Every flowering plant had lost their flowers due to lack of water. I am now caring for the potted plants while I wait to see if I lose any more. In addition, when I returned, Corina had a male guest whom she said was her brother. However, both of them were apparently in the bedroom. My neighbor also reported they heard the male voices several other times when the dog was being put outside. The house was in acceptable shape. I hired Rover.com at the recommendation of my brother, who has been very satisfied with the services of his selected "sitter". However, I am very unsatisfied with what happened at my home. I will not ask for Corina again. I will consider hiring Rover again if I can't find anyone else. I am sure Rover has more experienced and competent people than Corina.
