I pay attention to detail and TRULY care about the well-being of your pet. Since I no longer have a pet of my own, sitting for others is the next best thing. I have cared for a Chow mix and Rottweiler of my own and I have pet-sit a group of 2 pit-bulls and a pug in the same home. I am extremely comfortable with animals because I am aware that they just want love and respect. A cool moment that I can recall is a time when I had a hood on while going outside to check on a Pit-bull I was pet-sitting. The dog failed to recognize me and immediately began to growl. I immediately removed my hood and began speaking in a calm manner before allowing the dog to smell my hand and all was well. I felt as though I really connected with him at that moment.
