A pup getaway while you get away!

Pet care experience

Leaving your dog with a stranger is no easy task - after all, they're family! I will do whatever I can to make you and your pup comfortable and happy, allowing you to relax while you're away. I grew up with dogs, am a current dog owner, and was employed at the Best Friends Pet Care facility at the Walt Disney World resort. I have experience with all different dog types, and am comfortable with almost all breeds. WHAT TO EXPECT: When you first arrive, I will add a "I'm being dogsat!" tag your dog's collar (see photos), which has my personal phone number attached. In the incredibly unlikely event your pup slips away, my information will go with them - so no worries if you're unavailable or without cell service. While staying with me, your dog will be housed in their own bedroom, which may be shared with another Rover dog if we have more than one boarder at a time. If they have a crate, I do ask that you bring it with you. However, no crate is no problem, and I will make sure that all dogs are separated when they're alone. However, they will be able to roam the house once the humans are back - and don't worry, all furniture is fair game, and cuddles are expected! The house has a large backyard, so there will be plenty of outside playtime! Monday through Friday I do work from 9am - 6pm, so your dog will have some quiet time during weekdays! I will regularly send photos via Rover messaging during your dog's stay; no pressure to respond to every update! Please let me know if you would prefer I keep messages to a minimum. I do have a dog of my own; Samoa, who is a three-year-old husky mix rescue that LOVES to make new doggy friends. She is extremely friendly and loves to play! She's never met a furry friend she doesn't like, and can't wait to meet your dog! WHAT TO BRING: - Food (enough for length of stay) - Leash - Crate (if you don't own a crate that's fine, but please let me know when you request the booking) - Toys (if your dog has favorites they don't want to be without!) - Treats (if you have specific ones) - Medicine (as needed) - List of allergies (as needed) We have food and water bowls, poop bags, treats, and doggy wipes.
