We welcome every pet that stays with us as a part of our family. We understand trust is the most important part of what we do. We strive to take quality care of our visitors and earn and maintain your trust. We have learned every dog is different and every owner's expectations for care can be different. So, please ask questions and share your expectations and we will go above and beyond to accommodate your needs and care for your pet/s. We highly recommend a meet and greet prior to new bookings in order to make sure all sides have the opportunity to meet, clarify expectations, and become comfortable about the services and care we provide. We do our best to accommodate our customers' needs! BOARDING at our home is our most commonly requested service. We can provide boarding indoors if your pet is crate trained, but we are the best fit for pets that enjoy the freedom of the outdoors. All of our guests are sheltered at night. We have nearly an acre of fenced yard in a country setting where your pet/s may stay safely and have plenty of freedom and attention. They will always have access to shelter in an attached garage. We have a self-waterer inside that is cleaned and refilled regularly and outdoor water so our visitors never run out of water. We are outdoor people, spending countless hours playing with the dogs, gardening, and playing at our pool, but this is not the typical confines of traditional, boring boarding. Your pet will have the freedom to play, exercise, and enjoy the outdoors with us as much as weather allows! Inside dogs always find themselves in heaven at our place, but if you prefer your dog stay inside, we may not be the best boarder for you, but we do offer other services that will probably work well for you, such as... DROP-IN VISITS or DOG WALKS are provided so your pet/s can stay at their home. Typically, these requests are made for 2-3 drop-in visits per day, from morning and evening to morning, midday, and evening, but sometimes, you want more attention and care for your pet/s. So, you may need... HOUSE SITTING varies from a 12 hour overnight stay to 24-hours, around the clock presence in your home. Please communicate your expectations and we will discuss whether or not we have the time for 24-hour care, but our family works together to get it done whenever possible! I'm an animal lover for life who has had dogs my entire life. I've been successfully dogsitting for over a decade with hundreds of satisfied customers. Not many people have that level of experience. I’ve learned a lot, to say the least. The reviews speak for themselves! My family works together to provide supervision, care, and attention to all our guests. They receive plenty of exercise outside on good weather days and are typically brought inside at night for safety, shelter, dinner, and breakfast the following morning. I have a fenced yard with acreage. We typically have other guests staying with us who will be carefully introduced, temperament assessed, and matched to maintain safety, even with high energy, high play guests. We self-impose a maximum of 5 dogs boarding to ensure comfort and quality care. I’ve had more and have many wonderful guests that I have gotten to know well, but for my sanity and the dogs’ comfort and peace of mind, I often close dates once we reach capacity.
