My family always had dogs when I was growing up. We had bigger dogs (golden retrievers) and smaller dogs (dachshunds... my favorite!) In college I dog sat for neighbors. My sister, who owns 3 large German shepherd mixes and a variety of other pets, relied on me to dog sit while she and her husband spent time in Japan. I am comfortable with all animals! We currently own 1 energetic terrier mix dog who loves to play and make new friends! My wife and I take her on daily walks and trips to the dog park which is just a 5 minute walk from our house.

Our original sitter had an emergency and canceled 2 days before our planned trip. Corey accommodated our last minute need for a sitter. During the meet and greet, Binka got along well with Mellie (Corey's dog). During our trip I received both video and photo updates. We picked up Binka after the scheduled pick up time because our flight got delayed but Corey was very understanding. I highly recommend Corey and his wife as a sitter. Their home is cozy and Mellie is friendly and playful. She's the perfect playmate!

Mel and Piper got along so well!! They were quick to respond whenever I had a question and sent updates with pictures. Definitely will book again :)
excellent job with our little dog! It was the first time our dog had been away from us for more than a couple of days. She was well taken care of and obviously content when we went to pick her up. Corey was very loving and kind with her. I would recommend any one that has a need for a good quality dog sitter to use Corey.

There is a lovely dog park near my apartment in north Kihei, which would be a great place to stop after a nice walk! We regularly take our dog Mellie so she can socialize and burn off some of her energy :) My wife and I treat our dog like a member of the family. We tend to spoil her! It would be so great to meet your furry friend and invite them into our home while you are away!

I don’t have any breed preferences. I love all dogs! The ideal dog to join our home is one who has an even temper and who is not overly aggressive. If your dog has any special requests or concerns that you feel I should know, I am happy to accommodate.
A typical day
My neighborhood has a great dog park right next to it! If your dog loves going on walks or jogs, the trails or beach will be perfect, too! Your pet will be able to take frequent bathroom breaks throughout the day because my wife works from home.

I am currently working as a Technology specialist at Kamehameha School, while my wife works from home. We take regular morning and evening walks around our neighborhood and to the dog park where our dog loves to play!
