I am a relationship-based, reward-based certified dog trainer. I have 17 years of experience in pet care, and 8 years of experience training dogs, including training service dogs. I have a husky mix and working line german shepherds that I train & compete in a variety of sports with. I have an educational background in psychology and biology, with courses in animal behavior, (degree completed at UC Davis). I am Wilderness First Aid certified for dogs, and am certified in canine & feline nutrition with a specialization in raw feeding. I am comfortable & familiar with subcutaneous injections and administering pills & specialized time-sensitive medications.

Coralie is amazing! She updated us daily with pictures. My dog is always the nervous type when it comes to new things, but she stated he was really well behaved throughout the stay. That is a super big sign that Coralie is very welcoming! She is also helpful if you have any questions or concerns throughout the stay as well. Thank you again Coralie!
Coralie was more than patient for my dog Mac. She sent me regular updates and even suggested some other food options for him. She was great with Mac and will be his sitter for all of our future trips.
Coralie took good care of our dog, gave good feedback on our dogs leash walking skill and how to improve it. She provided clear instructions on what to bring for our dogs boarding and followed our care instructions.

I keep a structured household, for the safety of both my dogs and visiting dogs. My dogs are dog & human friendly, crate, place, and on & off leash obedience trained. If your dog likes other dogs, we can do 1 on 1 introductions, pack walks and/or play/free time with one of our dogs with a matching play style/personality during your dog’s stay! We strive for positive relationships between the dogs, and will only have our dogs interact if they are a good match. I have a fenced 1/2 acre, and access to acres of private land off site, for fun outings with the dogs. I do not visit dog parks or let dogs off leash in unfenced areas, and use long lines to give dogs more space to explore. I welcome dogs that are e-collar trained, but it is not a requirement! I have dog treadmills (dog pacer and dog trotter), to provide adequate exercise for high energy dogs or when weather is too hot, rainy, etc. In the summer, I fill kiddie pools for water fun! I do not leave dogs loose unattended inside or outside, for safety reasons. Dogs are crated at night and during meal times. Special care can be arranged if your dog is not crate trained. For transport, day trips, and training outings, your dog will ride in a crash-rated crate in the car (Ruffland, Dakota).

Please be honest about your dog’s behavior; we understand that not all dogs are perfect. Please send me a message if you have a dog that has specific care requirements! Long term boarding rate - Please inquire if your dog’s stay will be longer than 4 weeks! Please note that Rover has a “service fee”, in addition to a “booking fee” and taxes. These fees are factored in when you complete the booking.
A typical day
My training philosophy is to build a relationship through play and engagement, and make training fun and rewarding by finding what motivates your dog! I offer private training sessions, training walks, and structured daycare (play & train). I am comfortable & familiar with all training tools, and adhere to LIMA standards. We do not require or exclude any tools, and welcome dogs with all training backgrounds! I have trained in basic & advanced/formal obedience, tracking, barn hunt, trailing/locating, urban locating, shed dog, nosework, rally, dock diving, flyball, and schutzhund/IGP. I train & compete with my current dogs in obedience, nosework, barn hunt, NASDA, and IGP. I am a member of IAADP with 7yrs experience with service dogs, including puppy raising, public access, and task training. I have extensive experience with reactive, fearful, and anxious dogs. I am experienced with counterconditioning & desensitization techniques, and muzzle training. I am able to accommodate dogs that are not tolerant of dogs or people in their space or sight, as I have the space to keep my dogs completely separated on a different side of the home. I have a full grooming setup and offer bath, basic groom, and/or nail trims. Please let me know if you’d like to add any training, extra exercise, and/or grooming to your booking!

Availability
I plan my schedule and day-to-day around the dogs and their needs. Each dog’s day depends on their needs, and may include 1-on-1 exercise, play, training walks/sessions/outings, and/or treadmill time. I am home nearly full-time with the dogs.
