Dogs, cats & rats, oh my! Hi there, I'm Companion Cora! I've cared for pets all my life, from growing up with 7 cats and a Siberian husky/rottie mix to now 3 cats, two gerbils, a rat and fish of my own. I've worked as an Animal Care Technician full time caring for the health of rats, mice, gerbils, rabbits, zebrafish, frogs, canaries and finches! I know how to determine if there's any issues going on with your pets and will make sure they get the utmost care and attention. I've handles dogs from shiztus to huskies to pitbulls. I never discriminate against a dog's breed. If there are special quirks and needs, let me know! I'm willing to work whole-heartedly to make sure they are comfortable and feel like are with their companion.

Cora was absolutely wonderful with my dog Charlie. Charlie is getting up there in age but is still a puppy at heart. He loves run around the yard and go for a walk still, even though he cannot do it as long as he used to. Cora was very careful with taking Charlie for a walk to make sure he got his exercise without being too exhausted. She gave him plenty of water and treats and treated him as if he were her own dog. I could not ask for a better person to watch my dog than Cora.

In my home, when boarding is available, your pet will be treated as my own. They will have freedom of the house. For your canine companions, I will make sure we go for a 'W' regularly and they will get all the pets and cuddles! I will make sure to keep in contact with the owner throughout out day! When at a client's home, I will follow their instructions to the T, make sure they get fresh food and water, clean litter boxes or take them out to go potty. Afterwards, they'll get some Cuddles and some treats (if allowed). Any pets that require dosing of medication will be done timely and to the instructions prescribed. In any event of an emergency, I will reach out to you first thing and if you are not available your emergency contact or vet will be contacted. Companion health & safety are my top priorities and it is my duty to ensure you they are in the best care.

I love to know of any quirks your companions have ahead of time! If they have any special needs, accommodations, medication needs I would love it ahead of time so I am well prepared for the introduction and visit! If there is a specific route you take for walks, show me the route so you companion feels comfortable while you are away.
A typical day
I LOVE playing Tug of War with the doggies and get them riled up which is great for them to tire them out if they have high energy. For walks, I love taking them to parks or hiking trails nearby if the owner allows it. Anywhere with great scenery and plenty of room to roam with the doggies! For cats, I like to enrich them with any toys that are available at home such as laser pointer, catnip & a scratcher, or feather wands. If you walk your cat, I will also take them for walks on your usual path. Exercise is just as important in felines as it is for canines. For any rodents, I like to provide cardboard rolls for chewers and will give treats as allowed by the owner. Any additional playtime needed will be provided for other species not mentioned (i.e. rabbits or ferrets).

Availability
Companion care is a pure passion of mine and want it to become my main focus, so I plan to devote my time to it every week. I currently work a full-time job from home from 8am-4:30pm during the week so I'm available before and after these hours to help take care of your babies and I can stay at your house after to be with your pet for overnight stays. I want to build strong relationships with you & your companions today and for the future.
