ABOUT ME: Nice to meet you, my name is Cora! I am an experienced animal-lover who’s best friend just so happens to be my 10-year old Mini Aussie, named Mug. ♡ I started my professional pet care journey in 2017 as a sitter for PAWSitive Strides, based here in the Winter Garden area. I cherish so many memories with people and pets in this area and enjoyed my work full-time for 3 years in a row. Unfortunately when COVID hit, we closed PAWSitive Strides permanently. During this time I did some pet sitting independently on Rover and a year later moved to California to pursue dog grooming. After a couple of years of missing home, I am finally back in the Orlando area again, hoping to pick up where I left off! WHAT TO EXPECT: I take my work seriously and love what I do. It’s important to me that I specifically follow all routines and tasks requested by you during our visits, down to the smallest details! Your pets will be loved and properly cared for, exactly how I would want someone to be with my own. Communication is my priority; I send detailed notes every visit, photos, and will notify you right away if I ever have any questions or concerns. WHO WILL I SERVICE: I have experience working with all breeds and sizes of dogs and cats. I’m very patient and do well with seniors, puppies, special needs, and unsocialized. I’m also knowledgeable in dog nutrition and beginner grooming. I have pet sit for and worked with fish, other small animals or rodents, birds, and reptiles. I’m totally open to visits with these critters as well! Contact with questions.

SAFETY: All leashes during my dog walks will be attached to a safety belt around my waist to avoid possible leash slips. I will never introduce your dog to other dogs or people while outside. I will never give your dog any food or treats not provided by you. I wash my hands before, during, and after every visit to prevent the spread of germs. I do not mind at all wearing a mask while inside your home if requested.

INFORMATION I MAY NEED: Emergency vet contact is required on your profile. A short summery of the type of visits you are looking for is always appreciated with new clients. Have you had a sitter before? How is your pet with strangers? How many visits a day will you need? What would you like me to do while I’m at your home? Please include feeding times/amounts with the location of the food. Any medication or injuries/illnesses that I may need to be aware of. As well as some form of entry that I will have access to for these visits, be it a spare key inside a lock box, a garage code, or door code. TEMPERAMENT: I do have experience working with unsocialized pets that may not qualify for daycares or less experienced sitters. I am NOT a dog trainer, but I am very patient and understanding with fearful dogs. Please reach out if you have any questions or would like to discuss your situation, I might be able to help!
A typical day
A TYPICAL VISIT: Pet-sitting: Food, water, and medication can be given during this visits. I will also let the dog outside in the yard for some fresh air + potty break, and the remainder of the visit will be spent with play-time and TLC! Dog-walk: Food, water, and medication can be given for these visits if needed, a majority, if not all of the time, will be spent on a walk with your dog! House-sitting: Typically begins between 8 - 9 pm and ends around 6 - 7 am, includes overnight stay! When I arrive I can feed and/or immediately take for a walk according to the visit needs and the same can be done before I leave, first thing in the morning. This visit includes me staying in the home with the pets overnight to ensure around the clock care.

SCHEDULE: I’m currently working part-time. The days that I am and am not available will be updated on my calendar with as much as 2-week notice. I can not promise an exact time for your pet sitting visit, but I can try my best to accommodate your preference. My visits are usually done within a 2-hour time frame.
