I have personally owned 2 dogs, a husky and a dachshund. For years I walked (and ran with) each dog. I understand the differences between walking both large and small dogs. The dachshund was not great around other dogs, therefore I have experience walking dogs who constantly bark at other dogs. My extended family also has many dogs and I would occasionally help train them. I observed and utilized some of the best tactics for training dogs and correcting bad habits. I also have experience bathing dogs and cleaning up after them. Additionally, my girlfriend loves cats and she persuaded me to love cats in addition to dogs. Cats have always trusted me and I have always enjoyed being around cats, but in the past year I have learned so much about caring for cats. Training kittens to use the litter box, ensuring kittens aren’t overwhelmed in new environments, and petting/playing with older cats, I have been around a lot of cats recently. We often visit cat cafes and I always play with my girlfriend’s cat, so I have been around many different cats as well. Overall I have a passion for playing with and caring for animals.
