Hi there, I'm Constance! I’m a musician and part-time digital marketing consultant that primarily works from home and from my laptop. That said, I am both portable and flexible. Having grown up with many of my own pets, I understand that separation from your fur baby can be incredibly stressful on both ends. From personal experience, this makes my top priority ensuring your pets’ comfortability, safety, activity, and happiness! In addition to pet sitting, I will perform miscellaneous tasks upon request. For example, watering plants, feeding fish, emptying the mailbox, and turning on/off lights.

Needed a last-minute dog sitter/walker to drop by on my dogs for a few days while I was out of town and found Constance on Rover. Sent a request for her services and she called me the next day so we could go over details and answer any questions we had for one another. It was nerve-racking leaving my house and my dogs to a complete stranger, but Constance seemed very knowledgable and trust-worthy even over the phone. For three days, she came by periodically and spent time with my dogs walking them, brushing them, feeding them and playing with them. She would take pictures and send them to me with an update and that made me feel so relieved while I was far away. I came home after my trip to find a clean and secured house and two very happy dogs! Couldn't have asked for more! Will definitely be using her again!

I do not currently offer pet boarding in my home, as my own cat, Maliha, can easily become stressed around other cats/dogs. However, I am happy to spend time with your pet in your home, where they are also usually more comfortable staying. I’ve found from my sitting experience that pets, particularly those with separation anxiety, have a better experience when surrounded by your smells and their favorite things. Please let me know if you have any specific requests or further questions. ☺️

Likes and dislikes? - Does your pet have a trigger that upsets them? - How much affection, attention, and activity does your pet typically need? - Can your pet be left alone? If so, for how long? - Does your pet get separation anxiety? - Is your pet friendly with other animals and children? Can they be taken to parks or other public spaces? Health: - What is your pets’ feeding schedule like? - Does your pet have any allergies and/or health concerns that I should know about? Would they need any medication while you are away? - What should I do in case of a medical emergency? - Can you provide vet information? Which vet would you like me to take your pet to in an emergency? Behavioral: - How should your pet be rewarded for good behavior? (Special treats, toys, etc.) - How should I handle bad behavior, if there is any? How do you normally resolve conflict with your pet when they misbehave? (Specific commands, a timeout spot, etc.) - What types of things qualify as misbehavior? (Are they not allowed on the couch or counters, not allowed to dig, etc.)

While working from home, I am also currently working reduced hours due to recovering from surgery. This has given me more free time and flexibility to assist with you and your pets’ needs.
