I have always loved cats and dogs. Recently I was given the opportunity to care for horses, chickens, ducks, and emus(yes emus!) for 2 months. I approach each interaction with an animal with patience and understanding that, like humans, animals are unique in their personalities. Staying calm during any stressful situations is also my specialty! I rescued both of my pets, my cat from a dumpster and my dog from PACC. I love going on runs or long hikes with my energetic dog but will gladly sit down and give endless behind-the-ear scratches for any of the older or lower energy animals. I will make sure that your dog is treated the same way I treat my animals as I would want the same for my own.
