I have a Bachelors degree in Animal Science, a career working in farm animal welfare and management and personal experience of caring for my own dogs and horses for over 10 years. Connor was wonderful. She is very responsive and took wonderful care of our pup while we were away having our son! She was so flexible with the last minute scheduling and adjustment when we had to stay an extra night in the hospital. When we arrived home we found a calm and relaxed dog and it was so wonderful to have one less thing to worry about, since we knew Gertrude was in capable and caring hands!

Due to my flexible and remote schedule, I can care for your furry friends and stay at your home for most of the day while pet sitting. I don't need to be in an office, so my time will be spent alongside your pets as I catch up on work and treat them to some afternoon pets and attention. This is especially helpful for pets who are anxious while their owner(s) are traveling or away and haven't had much experience with pet sitters or boarding. In this scenario, your pet(s) would have limited time home alone and more social and physical interactions.

A typical day
I'll talk with you first about your pets favorite things to do so I have a better idea of what activities they most enjoy! I love walking through neighborhoods, nature paths and parks to enjoy the fresh outdoor air and greenery. At home, we can play with some toys or even maybe some puzzles or games for some mental activity.

I hold a full time position for a national non-profit and work remotely from Midtown in Sacramento. My schedule can be flexible and I'm happy to work from clients' homes while pet sitting or stop in for a visit, walk and some snuggles during the daytime hours.
