I have grown up with dogs of all sizes- more recently my Border Collie cross who just passed away. My day feels so empty without a dog to hang out with. I have been dog sitting for family and friends and love having a dog in the house. I live near the forest and hiking trails of North Vancouver and spend my days exploring. My usual day is centered around the "dogs schedule" :)

Connie took wonderful care of our border collie while we went backcountry camping in Garabaldi. She was easy to communicate with, easy going and most of all we felt very safe leaving our pup her in care. Connie has a great big fenced yard and even took our pup hiking! Being a border collie she can be a handful but she was absolutely tuckered when we picked her up. Many thanks Connie! Would absolutely recommend Connie to anyone looking for a safe, trustworthy and active dog sitter!
Connie was amazing with my dog! Took him on multiple walks and has a lovely home with a fenced backyard, perfect for relaxing and playing in ? her location is easy to get to and not on a busy street with lots of parking and great walks nearby.
Connie was great! Koda is a very energetic pup and Connie tired her right out and made sure to send lots of photos while they were out adventuring :) koda had the best time!

I understand all dogs have different issues, and can work with any your dog may have. I prefer dogs that can go off leash and walk with other dogs in my friend group. I am not a huge fan of dog parks and prefer to spend time exploring the trails.
A typical day
Hiking the Northshore mountains, or if your dog loves the water, Ambleside beach. I also have a place at Whistler and spend time exploring the trails in the Sea to Sky. I love high energy dogs that enjoy getting rid of the zoomies...

I am retired and have ALL day available. My routine with Sox my last dog was hike in the morning, home for rest/lunch then walk in the afternoon and before bed. I will adapt my day to your dogs needs.
