Amazing Huge Yard & No Pets / Kids

Pet care experience

Are you looking for a loving, safe, and fun vacation home for your furry family members? Do you want your pups to be the center of attention, surrounded by people who are delighted to be with them? Is it important that your pup have a huge, secure, amazing yard where they can explore freely? Then Camp Centennial may be right for you! I'm Concetta, and my husband Matt and I are dog people – without a dog of our own! We also don’t have children, so your pup will be our TOP priority during their stay here at Camp Centennial. We currently have openings for overnight camp, occasional day camp by request and quality home visits. Whether you need a loving home for a day, a night, or an extended trip, we may be right for you! QUICK SUMMARY: *Enormous yard inspected for pet safety by the City of Aurora Animal Control team! * Both names on our profile means: dual background checks and training completed! *No kids or other resident pets around! *Generally, only or two families at a time as guests – your pups get our FULL attention! *Check out our photos for a glimpse of life at Camp Centennial – it’s fun here!* ***A loving home – where our goal is for your pups have a better time on vacation than you do!*** WANT MORE INFO? Keep reading for the details! One of us (usually Concetta) is almost always home to provide plenty of attention, belly rubs and fun. We RARELY have more than one or two families at a time stay with us, although there may be some overlaps, especially during the busy summer season. We love spending time with dogs and understand they all have different needs, including, of course, exercise and play. We also have experience with dogs with medical needs, or who may simply need some quiet time in a restful place. We love photography, and send daily photos and updates so you, too, can experience the fun! We have been inspected and approved as a pet foster home by the City of Aurora, meaning our home and yard are safe, secure and ready for guests! Our 18,000 square foot, fenced backyard has many established trees with birds and squirrels that provide lots of fun – and plenty of room for your pup to run, play and explore. So many friends have trusted us with their fur babies over the years that our home earned the nickname “Camp Centennial”, and the name stuck! Check out our photos to get a good idea of what a stay at Camp Centennial is like! In addition to our reviews, phone references are also available upon request. We know how stressful it can be to find a place for your little one while you’re gone – let us alleviate that stress for you! If Camp Centennial sounds like the right choice for you, please contact us for a no obligation Meet and Greet. We’d love to meet you and your furry family members, and let you get to know us. Send your furry kids to Camp Centennial – where it’ll be hard to say who had the better vacation – you or them!

I couldn't be more pleased with Matt and Concetta, it felt like leaving my dogs with family! They are incredibly kind, communicative, and obviously love animals. We did a meet and greet prior to their stay and Matt and Concetta were very open and straightforward about the Rover process and their expectations of working with pet parents. I will absolutely be booking with them again, I love them as do my dogs!

Tucker LOVED his stay here!! Concetta and Matt are incredibly attentive to ensuring the dogs they are hosting have compatible energy. They sent pics multiple times a day and in each one he looked so content and joyful! He clearly adored playing with Matt!! And the other dogs. They were communicative and so flexible and even were able to add a last minute extension in stay. Their yard is a dog’s dream and they go the extra mile in every aspect of how they care for the dogs including collar tags, info sheets, etc. they came highly recommended by another rover sitter we adore and I can see why! We will definitely be booking with them again!! Couldn’t recommend them more!!

There is nothing to give but endless PRAISE for these two! Concetta and Matt truly are a rare find when it comes to someone loving your pet as much as you do and as well as you do! It is evident from the get go they have a special place in their hearts and home for your pet. As the overly obsessed pet parent I am, they were happy to send pictures, videos, and adorable texts constantly (as requested) and there was never a moment that we were away from our girl that we worried or wondered about her. They go above and beyond to make their guests' stay safe and FUN (i.e. pup pool in the summer!)! I truly can't imagine ever leaving my fur baby with anyone else and would recommend them to ANYONE. Thank you, Concetta and Matt! Piper can't wait to see you two again!

You cannot find better sitters for your pup(s) than Concetta and Matt! We took our dogs to stay with them for boarding and doggy daycare for years and have never felt more comfortable and at peace that they would be well cared for. Concetta and Matt’s house is a true camp for dogs with their amazing, huge backyard full of fun. They always send us the best pics of our boys having a blast or relaxing on couches and dog beds inside. Our older dog has some health issues and anxiety and Concetta and Matt knew exactly how to care for him. Our family recently moved out of Colorado and Concetta and Matt left gigantic shoes to fill as we find our next sitter. I’d highly recommend their services for your dogs! :)

Information Concetta & Matt P. would like to know about your pet

We want to know as much as possible about your pup before their stay to help them feel at home while you’re away. We require a Meet and Greet prior to accepting a booking, where we'll talk about your pup's favorite things, their routine, and more! We’ll also answer any questions you may have, so we can all be comfortable we’ve made a great match! Some items to note: • We make spay/neuter exceptions for puppies on a case-by-case basis. • A safe environment for all is a must! Your pup’s vaccinations must be up-to-date, and you may be required to provide a copy. • We are a loving home, not a kennel. Your dog must be clean and groomed when they arrive to spend time in our home. This is for their health and safety as well – so they can cool and/or dry off appropriately. If you don’t have the time, we can discuss other options including mobile groomers, a bath here at camp, etc. • High anxiety pups with severe separation anxiety may require a trial visit before being accepted at camp. • We are not the choice for you if your pup is in any way aggressive to people or other dogs.

A typical day

We make every effort to mimic your pup's home routine while they are here at Camp Centennial, only with lots of extra attention! Our backyard is HUGE, and perfect for games of chase, catch and more! We've taken our furry friends on "field trips" to state parks and other local dog-friendly places, and enjoy walks in the neighborhood. Our goal is for them to have as much fun (if not more) while they're in our home as you're having on your own vacation! Camp Centennial is the place to be!
