Hi! I recently finished my graduate degree at NEU and I’ve found lately that my time spent with pets and my income are both sorely lacking since moving to Boston, so this app seemed perfect! I currently live with my cat Obi and have raised 2 dogs and 4 cats since I was a kid. I’ve also cleaned up animal poop in every conceivable location known to man so that shouldn’t be a problem. I have experience with handling larger / more “intense” pets (my neighbor’s dog is taller than me when standing up, and my dog Yoshi is a psychopath). I fully understand that sometimes it’s impossible to function as an adult and also give your pet the attention they deserve every day, so I’d be happy to help out when I can!

Collin took great care of our dog Crosby! He was good at communicating with us during the booking process and made us feel secure with having him take care of Crosby. This was our first time using Rover since COVID started and since moving to Boston so finding someone we felt secure with was a big deal. We would love to have Collin take care of Crosby again.
Collin was great taking care of our cat while we were away. She can be a bit shy and often poops on the floor next to the litter box but he took care of everything no problem. He was communicative letting me know when he was stopping by, and cleaned up all the dirty spoons and dishes. Definitely would recommend!

My first goal when I visit a pet is to make sure they are comfortable. If they are friendly I will give them attention for a while, but if they are a bit more timid I’ll be quiet and try to not disturb them. Once their well-being is checked I’ll proceed to do whichever tasks the owner has laid out for me (and play with them for a bit more afterwards).

A typical day
If you’re near the emerald necklace (JP area) I know lots of trails and would love to explore. Also I have a tennis ball that I’m happy to bring on my trips (won’t be as helpful for cats but I will give them love as well). I now live in Somerville and my trail knowledge has expanded drastically!

Availability
I am always conscious of pet safety and will make sure any harmful materials are locked away, all doors/windows are shut if the pet is indoors, and when walking the pet I always make sure to stick to the sidewalk or trail.
