Loving care when you're not there

Pet care experience

**SENIORS, PUPPIES, SPECIAL NEEDS, AND BULLY BREEDS WELCOME!** Hello! If you're looking for experienced, trustworthy help with your pet - you've found her! Whether your pet is affectionate or ornery, delightful or a diva, I've got the experience and knowledge to handle 'em. When you entrust your dog or cat to my care, you'll have the peace of mind knowing that they're in knowledgeable hands. I understand that pets are family and I'll treat your pets like MY family. I've had pets and cared for animals all my life. Growing up, we had dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, and guinea pigs. Later, I worked as a vet assistant, with a specialty in horses and farm animals, and subsequently worked as a barn manager for several years. Today I share my home with three dogs and ten cats - all rescues - and a rotating assortment of foster dogs and cats. When it comes to animals, there's not much that can surprise me. I'm known as "You're the one with all the dogs!" and have been called "the dog/cat whisperer" more than once. Because dogs are happiest when they know what's expected of them, I make each walk or visit an opportunity to reinforce positive training and introduce new skills. I have extensive experience working with behavior issues, such as leash pulling, jumping, aggressive behavior, fear behavior, reaction barking and chasing, and more. I also have an extra-special place in my heart for seniors (I do love me a sugar-face).

We love Collette! She is amazing with Dusty (our dog) He is very shy and timid around people but Collette is his new best friend! Thanks Collette!

There's probably not another human being who I would feel more comfortable with taking care of my fur-babies in my absence. Collette is intelligent, personable and communicates dynamically. When it comes to the fur-kids, She's a cat aficionado and nothing short of a dog whisperer. Collette is an advocate for animals, everything from cats and dogs to wild horses and everything in between. She is also heavily involved in animal rights legislation. If you are in search of a genuine person who will keep your pets safe, on a schedule, manage their diets appropriately and love the heck out of them in your absence, she is your person. I've known Collette since 2013 and I can speak from personal experience. The woman is devoted to the welfare of animals in every facet of her life. I would highly recommend that you take that vacation, get that surgery procedure you've been waiting for, or go to that zen retreat that's calling your name. Perhaps you are at work all day and your pooch needs a walk or your high maintenance "kitteh" needs a brush or a pet. Collette is your person. She is the one. I put my stamp of approval on this woman with 150% confidence. You can feel free to contact me. I'll tell you even more great things!

I like to know as much as I can about your dog before sitting or walking. A typical day

A 30-minute walk includes neighborhood strolls or a visit to a nearby park or dog park. Longer walks or hikes include City Creek, the Bonneville Trail, Liberty Park, Sugarhouse Park, Memory Grove, and more. **Hikes will be conducted on-leash unless or until we establish that your dog has perfect recall.**
