Hello! I am offering boarding and daycare services for dogs up to 25 lbs in my townhome in the west end of Portsmouth. I rescued a terrier/chihuahua puppy named Frankie last year and she absolutely LOVES playing with other dogs. It’s not a good time for me to adopt another pet, but I think she would love to have some furry friends to play with so I’m opening my boarding services up again 🐶☺️. Frankie is 7.5 lbs but plays well with larger dogs as long as they are not too aggressive with her. Because of Frankie’s small size, I can only accept dogs that are 25 lbs or less. They must be up to date on their vaccines and get along well with a feisty, energetic puppy! I work from home full time, so for the most part I will be in the home with any pets that are here. If I have to go out, I will separate the dogs - Frankie stays in a pen when I am out and I also have two medium sized crates that can be used. My house is thoroughly puppy proofed! I do not have a private yard, but make regular use of the fenced in dog park in my neighborhood, and take frequent walks with my pooch. For emergency potty breaks I have an XL grass pad on my porch. I have over a decade of experience caring for dogs - starting with my first dog, Felicity 🌈, who I adopted when I was 22. I’ve offered dog sitting services through Rover previously, and also previously fostered dogs through City Dogs Rescue in Washington, DC.
