Pet care experience
I’ve grown up around animals my whole life! I am comfortable with large and small dogs. I can’t have a dog where I’m living now, so I thought this would be a fun way to get some much needed dog time! I also love cats, have lived with them for years, and am soon to be an owner.
Reviews
Colleen took very good care of my cat while I was away and provided detailed updates of her check-ins to keep me posted
Will recommend to anyone!
Colleen is a very caring person and has always come to watch our dog Charlie when we needed her. She's always spent time by playing with him, going for a walk or playing with him in the backyard. Our dog looks forward to spending time with her, and we never have to worry about him while we're away because he's definitely in good hands!

Safety, trust & environment
Meal times are important and keeping food/water well stocked for the pet is essential. Additionally, that nothing they could get into has been left out. I also think on walks the dog should stay on a leash!
Information Colleen S. would like to know about your pet
I think it’s important to know whether or not the dog has any fears of certain breeds so that when on walks I’m aware. Also, knowing if the pet is aggressive towards any gender.
A typical day
I think playing fetch is a fun activity to do with dogs. I’m pretty energetic so a dog who needs to get their energy out would like me. For cats, playing with toys is also an enjoyable time - the mouse on a string game is my fav!

Availability
I’m looking for more activities to do on the weekends and I’m usually on walks anyways! I work in DC, but could do evening care almost any day of the week. The Arlington neighborhoods are fun to explore while on a walk, and can help beat the winter blues!
