I currently have two huskies, one is 12, almost 13, the other is 5, and had a miniature schnauzer before these guys, so I can handle dogs of all size, energy level and age. I am also able to handle pullers. I am a runner, and love having a dog with me for a jog, so I will take your dog for a run, if they're up to it. I will tailor the run to your dog's stamina, so they enjoy it and get their energy out. If your dog isn't a runner, they will have a great time going for a nice walk with me. I am more than willing to let them stop to sniff whatever they find that's interesting to them, or just go non-stop. I will let your dog decide how he/she wants to walk, since this is his/her time. If you want me to be sure that we go a certain distance, I have a fitness tracker that I use to determine how far I have gone, so I can make sure we reach a minimum (or maximum) distance in our walks. And, if there are parks near your house, I'm happy to have the walk go through the park. I am also happy to help with training. If you want me to have your dog stop, sit and stay before crossing the street, I will be sure to incorporate that into the walks. If you are able to provide treats for that, it will make it easier, but I can also bring my own to carry with me. Or, if there is any other type of walk training that is still being done with your dog, let me know and I will be sure to incorporate it. I have dog sat for friends quite a bit in the past, besides owning my own, and have done some volunteer work taking shelter dogs for walks, so I have quite a bit of experience with dogs.
