Pet care experience
It started with just loving all dogs- big ones, little ones, fluffy ones, bare ones. At first it was just my dogs, then it turned into being asked questions about my family members dogs. Then into siting for family then friends then friends family members. I spent about 1 1/2 years working as a vet tech in Maryland and in another life would love a veterinarian. They're so much more than just pets. They really are our best friends. I believe that our dogs become part of our family. They know when we're happy and they know when we're down. Because of that, I think they should all experience the best lives possible, even when we have to go out of town sometimes, and I would love nothing more than meeting your dog and taking the absolute best care of him or her possible.
Reviews
This was my first experience with Rover.com. I was leary about leaving my dog with someone I hadn't met but I didn't want to put her in a kennel either. Colleen greeted my husband and me and immediately I knew that I made the right decision. I felt as though I was leaving Molly with a family member not a stranger. Colleen was perfect and her love for animals was evident. She walked and played with Molly and made sure she kept the same routine as much as possible. If you are in the Avon, CO area and need a pet sitter, I highly recommend Colleen. A double thumbs up and yes I will be a repeat client.
Colleen was exceptional! She took our pups to the wedding so they could be a part of our special day. She sent us photo updates and i could tell they were well taken care of! She is the best in Vail!!!
Colleen took great care of our dog while we were gone on vacation, we will definitely use her again!

Thought I do not have a fenced in yard, Winnie and I do live alone. I’m not too far from several local trails that we frequent. While home, I have ample toys any dog is welcome to, and am sure to toss pieces as they get too small.

Information Colleen O. would like to know about your pet
I’d love to know the bathroom schedule and if your dog has chewing tendencies! I’m happy to work with ones that do, however, knowing ahead of time can help direct how I arrange my home.
A typical day
Typically, I like to wake up and give one on one attention through belly rubs, scratches, snuggles- whatever it may be. Then a quick trip outside for relief, followed by breakfast (if applicable) and then to the car for a longer walk. Sometimes I need to get some work done at home, or go to class, but when I return, I do another quick potty break, snack/dinner (depending on time throughout the day), longer walk of sorts and individual attention.

Availability
We go on multiple walks per day. I try to get my dog, Winnie, out for a minimum hour hike along with several short strolls as well.
