Compassionate Cat Caretaker
Pet care experience
I’ve had cats all my life and have over 15 years of experience taking care of cats from all walks of life, both personally and professionally. I was able to learn a lot about cats and best practices from my mother, who is a veterinary technician. Shortly after I moved to Boston in 2015, I volunteered at Gifford Cat Shelter in Brighton where I both took care of the adoptable cats and helped folks interested in adopting find the right cat for them. I also was a foster mom to Gifford cats to prepare them for their forever homes, including socialization and reducing the kitties’ anxiety. During my last semester in graduate school to become a therapist, I joined the Rover community and had the opportunity to take care of some amazing cats! Looking to bring my care and skills to the Denver Metro area as well! I have two cats of my own, named Frida and Poe.

Professional cat cuddler!
Thank you as always, Colleen, for being the best sitter!
We feel so lucky to have Colleen nearby to care for our cat Copper while we’re away. She plays with him, brushes him, takes care of food/water/litter, and sends great pictures from the visits. We know Copper’s in great hands with Colleen!
Thank you as always, Colleen! Jonesy always loves having you spend time with him <3
