Pet care experience
I’ve been taking care of dogs for my entire life and started pet sitting as a teenager. I am a devoted pit bull mom, an active City Dogs Cleveland dog-walking volunteer, a lover of all animals, and I’m comfortable with seniors, bigs, littles, giving meds, walking, bathing, playing, enrichment activities, snuggling, and more. I have had cockatiels for the last 12 years, and I’m also excited to meet your birds, reptiles, fish, and other kinds of pets. Between my personal experience with my dogs and my volunteer experience at the Cleveland city kennel, I’ve just about seen it all and have been fortunate to learn a lot and discover some amazing resources to handle all kinds of scenarios. I am responsible, calm, and caring. You should know that I will care for your pets as if they were my own- if that wasn’t the case, I wouldn’t be doing this!

Colleen is an excellent dog walker and dog visit person. She is not only great with dogs ( one of my three dogs is reactive on the leash and hard to walk), she is reliable, flexible and very comfortable in doing things the owner's way. She takes great pics of the dogs too. I recommend her highly.
Colleen is the best! So great with my puppy who is still shy around strangers. Goes at his pace and he loves her now! Such thorough report cards, pictures and videos. I know he is in good hands and absolutely trust her!!

I will let you and your pet take the lead. Is your dog a snuggly couch potato? Great, we’ll watch a movie together! Are they super energetic? Awesome, I’m a marathoner, so let’s go for a run! Do they need lots of stimulation to exercise a big brain? Cool, a sniff-filled hike might do the trick! Your pet’s safety and confidence are always the most important. You know your pet better than anyone, so I appreciate any information that will help me understand their likes, dislikes, quirks, and favorite activities so that they are comfortable and entertained while they are in my care. About me: professional, mid-30s, non-smoker, music lover, marathon runner, home owner, beer enthusiast, never met a pizza or a dog that I didn’t like.

Availability
Have laptop, will travel! I have a remote job with a flexible schedule, so I can easily work from your home during the day. Mornings and evenings are often free, and my dog has approved of sharing me with yours.
