My legal name is Colleen, everyone calls me Kitty. This is my full time job. I am a responsible, and very organized 63 year old with a lifetime of experience! I have never had a time in my life I haven't had animal family members. Presently I have 12 Cats, two small dogs, 1 big dog, 2 box turtles and 4 aquatic turtles. Taking care of companion animals has been something I've done since I was 14. I volunteered at our Local Veterinary clinic and animal shelters all through school. Over the last 10 years I was heavily involved in animal rights/welfare. Cat coloney management TNR and I was an Organizer for two nonprofits, I also have experience in caring for chickens, bunnies and other companion farm animals (see my photos). My life has been dedicated to loving, helping and caring for animals. I have animal care, and first aide training and can administer medication, oral or injections, and fluids under the skin etc. I am also a certified member of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants. I am on another pet care website and have multiple private clients I have been caring for over the years, So I do book fast. Early booking is a good idea! My rates are based on my worth and experience and the 25% service fee charged to me. While staying at your home, I can water plants, bring in mail, put garbage cans out or any other tasks you might need, so that you will be stress free. Companion animal care is my full time job, so other than a walk, or drop ins, ( I do have regular weekly drop ins), I will seldom leave unless going to the store or doing a drop in or walk. If my husband is working, I might have to drop in on my own tribe. Through the years, I also have acquired experience with behavior issues, especially with cats. I have had over 25 cats of my own!! I'm proud of the relationships I'm able to develop with cats. I've had the opportunity to meet Jackson Galaxy, "My Cat From Hell" and learned some wonderful tips! I am happy to come to your home and care for your animal family so no worries about taking them to a strange place. I'll keep you up to date with photos and texts just enough to ease your mind. Visits prior to staying at your home, can be arranged so your baby can get to know me, and I them. Every individual has different personalities, and some take longer than others to adjust. Let me give your babies the love care and attention they would never get at a boarding facility, or be afraid of being in a strange home, wondering if you'll return.
