Fun, Caring, Dependable&Experienced

Pet care experience

Hello! My name is Colleen and ever since a young age I have always had a love for all animals! I grew up with a cocker spaniel and terrier mix as well as currently have a sweet rescue pup. Starting at the age of 10 I actively pet-sat neighbors dogs and cats, offering to take dogs on long walks and never wanting to leave them alone. When I turned 18, I began working at Banfield Pet Hospital as a Veterinary Assistant. This built up a vast knowledge and many experiences with dogs making me a great caretaker of dogs of all ages and sizes! I do work full-time on weekdays, however, I am available on weekends to care for and love on your pet(s)! *** I do have a dog of my own so if your pet currently has kennel cough (i.e. still on medication & not allowed to be around other pets), I am unable to take care of them for the safety of my own pet & others! I really look forward to (hopefully) getting to know and care for your adorable, loving pets!

As always, super amazing to have Colleen check on our kitties while we were away! Highly recommend - she’s wonderful!

Colleen did an awesome job following all my directions and keeping me informed - including lots of photos during each visit. My cat requires meds/injections, so not an easy task. When she ran into an issue and I wasn’t available, she resolved the issue on her own. I am so glad I found her to help me out when my job forces me to travel. I highly recommend Colleen!

Colleen is always so amazing with our cats! They truly are excited to see her & we so appreciate her taking time out of her day to visit with them. After Colleen visits, I get detailed information and so many pictures which I love! If there are ever any issues with the litterbox or hairballs (happens with cats!), she always lets me know. I can’t recommend Colleen enough. She’s visited our cats when we’ve been out of town for about 2 years now & we look forward to future trips, knowing our kitties will be well looked after!

Information Colleen C. would like to know about your pet

In order to assure you the best possible care for your dog, I'd love to know nay fears or allergies they may have. This will help me be able to best prevent them from harm or unnecessary anxiety, including if they do not do well with other pets or if they have a tendency to bite or attack. I also would love to know about their personality and things they love so I can make the time you're away fun and relaxing for them! I am open to all breeds and all ages and sizes :)

A typical day

Just as each pet is different, I understand all pets like to do different things. This is why I don't like to stick to one or two activities but prefer to adjust it based on the dogs preferences! Some of my specialities include long walks and tug-of-war but am always down for a good belly rub. With some pets, they prefer familiarity so I would try and take them on walks in places they've been before so they feel safe, preventing high levels of anxiety. But if they're as adventurous as me, I would be willing to take them to fun new parks and places (depending on pet and owner preferences, of course).
