Big hearted, reliable walking buddy
Pet care experience
My big thing is this: exercise and being outdoors makes for happier, healthy dogs and happy, healthier people. I've loved and shared my home with a Shihtzu, schnauzer, 2 sweet pits, and several good old mutts and I don't take a commitment to these sweet beings lightly, so I don't have my own right now. Whether big or little, the pure joy they take in the simple act of getting out to walk is something that touches my heart. Thus I've been the girlfriend and housemate who walks your dog more than you ever do (no, not YOU, you clearly responsible, loving dog parent), the sister/daughter who walks your cooped up Golden when I visit, and the friend who takes your bouncing bundle of puppy energy for a run while you're sick. Depending on the dog, they might prefer a quick jaunt around the block or hiking a few miles. Either way, they all deserve to move and explore! And I'm way into moving and exploring myself! I recently dropped 30 pounds through consistent exercise and more movement in my daily life. I'm also actively reinventing my life and searching for where I want to settle. I enjoy and am devoting time to getting out to explore neighborhoods and parks on foot and would love to bring your dog with me! I have a very flexible, part time, telecommuting job so I am available for longer stays and have a lot of availability and flexibility to spend time with your pup!

Colleen went above and beyond in care for our pups while we were away for several days. Both of our dogs have special care needs (medication, behavior) and she was flexible and accommodating. She even cared for one of our pups who was ill in the house. Our dogs received the attention and special care they need and were happy and tired when we returned. We will be booking with Colleen again whenever she is available!

Colleen did a great job taking care of Louie. I was out of the country for 2wks and needed extra support for my roommates to care for him with daily walks and check ins. She communicated well, which made me feel more at ease while halfway across the globe away from my pup. He and I both have separation anxiety from each other so it was a relief to have some I trusted stopping by daily to help out. :) Highly recommend Colleen for your pet care needs.
