Hello! I have fostered dogs with SDR for the last 3 years. I am not currently fostering because I can’t commit full time to the care of a rescue dog in need, but I am missing having the organized chaos more dogs bring. Most of my experience fostering was with the toughest cases the rescue brought in so I am not afraid of a challenge and I am great with dogs. Even earning the nickname “dog whisperer” among my friends and volunteer colleagues at the rescue. I moved to PA several years ago and have since established a small dog sitting business to welcome pups into a safe homey experience while their parents are away. I have 2 dogs of my own; a blue tick coonhound and a border collie mix. They keep me busy, but I know how hard it can be to find good reliable dog care so I want to open our home and my free time to help take care of yours! I work a typical Monday to Friday but have a pretty quiet life otherwise so evenings are typically spent hanging out with the dogs.

There would be no other person I would trust to watch my dog then Colleen. She has to be one of the biggest dog people I have ever met. My dog can be down right stubborn and difficult and she never once has gotten frustrated with him. The only downfall is I think he might be starting to like Colleen better then me lol. Highly recommend.
Colleen is a amazing dog mom. She has such a fantastic, caring and loving heart for animals. My dogs are always extremely well taken care of when they spend time with her, happy and tired whenever I pick them up. They’re always excited when the see the turn to her place! I can’t say enough good things about her. Fantastic person.

I love to teach my dogs new things and we’re constantly working on their patience. We spend a ton of time at the lake in the summer and go for daily walks.

I work Monday to Friday 7-3:30. Our dogs are fine all day without a break, but I can/will come home at lunches for dogs in my care to be let out.
