Hi! When I was around 10 years old my older brother (13) and I started a pet walking business in our neighborhood, so I have walked dogs for almost 20 years! I ended up taking over the little business when my brother decided it was too much work, and continued walking dogs and housesitting for much of my teen years. Now I am a self-employed music teacher so I am hoping Rover can fill some of the gaps for me! I am punctual, prepared for any and all dogs (because I love them all), and I love to run/exercise with the dogs! I am usually pretty good at dealing with any temperament of dog and can control even the most unruly doggie without too much difficulty. I look forward to meeting you and your pup!

Colin is a great dog caretaker, he's careful, attentive and fun for any dog to spend time with. He's responsible and punctual for dog owners as well. I gladly recommend Colin as a Rover walker!
Colin is a wonderful person who has provided excellent care for my dog in the past. He does the basics well - feeds her on time, takes her outside when needed, etc., but more importantly he simply spends time with her, giving her the love , affection, and play time that I cannot give while I'm away.
We first hired Colin and his older brother Patrick when they were youngsters in our neighborhood, 10 years ago. They had started a little pet care company and we were so impressed by their professionalism and caring of our dogs. I was so happy to see that he is now on Rover! Colin really loves our dogs, and vice versa! The dogs are more excited to see him when he comes over than they are to see me at the end of the day! They howl and carry on and don't stop wagging their tails. We highly recommend his service. He always goes above and beyond the call of duty. For example, one of our dogs was having her period and Colin wasn't shy about learning how to deal with that.

A typical day
I will take your dog with me and my dog on our daily walks. Most of the time we like run in the Frederick Watershed or Gambrill State Park, but we also do walks around Baker Park, to the dog park, around my neighborhood, or around downtown Frederick!

Availability
Most of my lessons/work is in the afternoon and evening so I am happy to provide walks anytime before 3 PM most days! I am also available most weekends for house sitting or dog walking or both!
