I was very blessed to grow up in a house that always had the loving presence of cats and dogs. I also have had experience administering medicine to cats.

I live in a two-story townhome with three very mellow and relaxed cats, in a walking-friendly neighborhood. I am also approximately 2 miles away from a nearby dog park, for daily runs.

How does your pet act when meeting new people? Shy, laid back, or pretty outgoing? How does your pet act around children? Is your pet a rescue? If yes, is/was there any trauma that you suspect from your pet’s past? Is your pet on any medicine and/or any possible dietary restrictions and lifestyle? How does your pet act around other dogs, females versus males? Are certain breeds and/or sizes an issue for your pet? Is your pet timid, shy, or any aggression issues that may ensue around other dogs or cats, et cetera? Does your pet like to be walked alone or with other dogs? If yes, is there limit on the number? Does your pet like workouts (to run and fetch) or a more leisurely walk? I do not have any breed preferences, however, I walk better with smaller and mid-size breeds.
A typical day
One of my favorite parks, for longer excursions, is Pelham Falls in Greenville, there’s a walking path and a waterfall. This is a great spot for stretching, running and playing fetch. The neighborhood that adjoins the Pelham Falls is pretty quiet and a walking-friendly.
