I adopted my very first dog in 1994 and I've had a never-ending love affair for dogs ever since. I volunteer with a few rescue groups and my work includes evaluating, fostering, transporting and networking dogs to save them from euthanasia in our local shelters. One group I volunteer for is senior specific, 10 years or older, so I have a lot of experience with medical/special needs for the older pups. I've also had 2 foster puppies, on seperate occasions, that needed a leg amputated, which required strict rest, carrying out for potty breaks, medication, and vet follow-up visits. Both pups recovered famously and went on to lead full, happy lives. I'm 100% committed to taking the BEST care of any critter that's in my care.
