WFH - Fenced Yard - Playmate incl.

Pet care experience

Hello, my name is Cole. My partner, Lizzie, and I both work from home daily with our Labradoodle, Indigo. Indigo is active and energetic and would love to have some friends come play fetch or chase her around the yard! She is what you would call a "dog's dog." Although she loves people, she especially loves her doggy friends!

Remy did great at Cole and Lizzie's house! They sent photos and videos, and Remy was playing and having a great time!

Can’t recommend Cole and Indigo enough :) Indigo has the perfect energy for our 8 mo old puppy. He comes home happy and tired. Cole is a great communicator and we completely trust him with our fur baby. Couldn’t be happier to have found them!

Cole was awesome with Gypsy. He communicated great. He was flexible with pick up as I had some unforeseen issues happen and had to move it a little later. I definitely will use him again for Gypsy if he is available.

Cole was great with my mini-doodle, Bea. He worked with me to find a day that he had availability and kept me well informed throughout the day with pictures & even a video.

Safety, trust & environment

We know that your dog may be a little nervous the first time they stay with us, so we make sure to give them lots of pets and comfort. We also know that, as owners, it can be nerve-wracking to leave your dog with strangers, so we make sure to send daily updates, photos, and videos. We have even FaceTimed guests who wanted to check on their babies! Indigo is a velcro dog, meaning she's always right by our sides during the day. Most of our guests prefer this too, which is totally fine by us! We are also careful to close doors and use gates to keep the dogs safe while in our care. If we do leave the house for a brief period of time, we use our Furbo to check in and make sure everybody is doing okay. We do not leave home for more than 4 hours at a time. All in all, your dog's comfort and safety are our #1 priority, followed, of course, by lots of fun and play! We want to keep Indigo safe and other guests safe, as well. As such, we cannot accept dogs over the age of 12 months that have not been socialized. Furthermore, we require all first-time guests to come for a meet and greet to make sure we are a good fit for your pup.

We love puppies, but we are only able to take pups that are fully potty trained. If you come for a meet and greet and we agree that we are a good fit for your dog, we would like for you to provide info on whether your dog is up-to-date on shots, vet contact info, any health concerns, behaviors, etc. Thanks in advance!

A typical day

On a typical weekday morning, we wake up around 6:30 am and let the dogs out to go potty and sniff around, followed by breakfast. We make sure to take breaks during the morning every hour or two to let the dogs play in the yard and run around. Around 4:30 pm, one of us takes them on a 30-minute walk. After they get back from the walk, they play fetch in the yard. Next is dinner, followed by more playing, either indoors or outdoors. Indigo loves to play tug-of-war or play with her stuffed squirrel. By 8:30 pm, everybody is ready to snuggle on the couch. We typically go to bed around 10:00 pm during the week. On the weekends, we have similar routines, but may take longer walks or visit a nearby trail :)

Availability

Since we work from home, we’re able to go outside at least every 2 hours to play with Indigo in our fenced-in yard and take her on afternoon walks near our house. Our day is a perfect balance of work time and playtime! We are currently accepting new clients for doggy daycare during the week. It is important to note that we have many return clients and receive frequent requests, especially for weekend care. Therefore, it is important to book with us as far in advance as possible. We do not take same-day requests for new clients.
