I grew up in rural America with my Golden. My family got him when I was six months. It’s been dogs for me ever since. They make me calm, even when they are being insane. They need their things a specific way just like we do. Some of us don’t like apples, there’s nothing wrong with that, not all dogs like them either. Maybe a blueberry? Not your thing? Cheese flavor maybe? Different strokes. My dog loves sports, the sound of the balls on the court relaxes her so we often have ESPN on a lot. If something like this works for your dog, I don’t always need to know why (unless of course you want to tell me) but I will always respect it.
