Pet care experience
I absolutely love dogs, all sizes and types. I say I'm the real dog whisperer because I rarely find a dog that doesn't immediately like me. I don't know if I have a smell they trust or what, but it's been that way my entire life. I've had dogs since I can remember as a child. Boe Dog, Jake, Teddy, Bear Dog, Nikki, Scout, and many others are just some of the dogs I've had the pleasure of living with and playing with over the years. I don't currently have dogs myself since I just moved into my new home after years of apartment living. Thought this would be a great way to keep my passion for pups going. Hope you choose me! Can't wait to meet your "Rover.

Cody would make a great dog sitter. I've personally seen his calm and loving demeanor around dogs and humans during our 20+ year friendship. He recently visited me in Denver and volunteered with me at a puppy adoption event. Seeing him with all those adorable puppies put him in his happy place. He also is a very responsible guy and would trust him to watch my dog.
I have known Cody for nearly 10 years. Six of them he was my roommate. During that time I rescued a 1 year old female beagle, Freckles. She showed signs that she was abuse by a male. Cody worked with her until she gained his trust. He's compassion for dogs is amazing. He knows exactly what they need and they response to his love and patience. My cocker spaniel, Tedy, recognizes his voice over the phone and goes straight for his toy duck to play. I highly recommend Cody for a dog caregiver.
Cody is truly the dog whisperer. He loves dogs and I think they can feel that - and they respond to it. He is able to bridge the gap even with dogs that are normally afraid of men. Finding the right caregiver for your dog is one of the hardest parts of being a dog parent. I highly recommend Cody. Just ask our dog Lexi - she always goes into her “happy dance” when she sees Cody!

I don't have a preference, but if you have a Great Dane... I will love it even more! My only requirement is the dog have a friendly demeanor. If the animal is aggressive and mean/bites, I will not be able to perform the duties requested.
A typical day
I have a dog run around my neighborhood, with open play areas. Many parks in the area also where we can get rid of some of the energy and have some fun! I love to play fetch and tug of war with dogs and more than anything give lots of pets and ear/butt scratches. I have a block fenced in yard with easy access from the house through a dog door.
