Hendrix + Friend Boarding (ages 2+)
Pet care experience
Hendrix + Friend Boarding is serious about your dog's comfort and safety so we limit visitors to 1 dog at a time (plus our own dog of course). If you are a 2-dog family, we will consider making an exception. We are two rockin' guardians that have had dogs since childhood. We enjoy playing name that breed, fetch, and "what do I have to do to get a treat around here?". We live "uptown" in Manor Park known for Northwest living with nice sized yards for romping around! Our dog goes out into our spacious (for DC) backyard every 2-4 hours for fetch or potty breaks when we're home Friday-Monday. Our neighbor let's pups out back today Tuesday-Thursday. Have an active, smart dog? So do we! We're adept at keeping active minds occupied with fetch, training, tricks, and 2 long walks/jogs every day. We have a tunnel, hula hoops, and toys for rainy days. Have a laid back dog or one requiring special care? Our first dog together was extra cuddly but suffered from several health issues with a medication schedule. We're expert medication managers and have experience with incontinence issues. We want to get to know you and your pup before we begin caring for him or her and REQUIRE a meet-and-greet. Your dog must be: • 2 years or older • Spayed or neutered • Housebroken • Respectful of furniture and items in the home • Between 15-65 lbs Our rate is $50/night (24 hours) $35/day for dog sitting Schedule a meet-and-greet today!
Reviews
Kirkby had a great stay with Clint, Jen and Hendrix. He quickly became one of the family. We appreciated the daily updates, observations, pictures and videos. They even taught him a few new tricks. We would happily have him stay again and would feel confident that he was having a fun, warm, and loving experience.
The best quality care Rover has to offer!
Thanks for another great stay!
Clinton, Jennifer, and Hendrix are the BEST! My dog had his second stay with them and it was full of fun adventures. They share wonderful photos and detailed updates during each stay and have a well-information, safety-focused approach to dog care. Love them and will use them as long as I can!

We have several rooms we can separate dogs who need time alone and can crate. We like to teach dogs tricks while with us to keep their body and brain active.
