Pet care experience
I have grown up caring and owning pets my entire life. My family had a soft spot for rescues so we always had several pets around the house. The neighborhood I grew up in was very close and for years I would care for my neighbor’s pets when they were away. I have recently taken care of a family friend’s dog while they go out of town frequently for work. I joined Rover because of the frequent requests on the sidewalk from their neighbors to care for their animals. I realized I loved doing it and as often as I get asked I might as well become official with it. I will always prioritize your pets needs and care for them like they were my own. I strive to make sure you’re completely at ease while you’re away knowing your pet is in great care.

Clayton was amazing while dog sitting in my house for my senior Great Dane. He bonded with my dog and went out of his way to make him feel comfortable. He was also very respectful of my house and belongings.
This was my first time ever to leave my cats with a stranger, so I'm sure you can imagine the nervousness and anxiety I felt about it! Clayton cared for my 3 cats, one of which has some minor special needs due to being deaf. He sent me updates and also responded quickly to my messages. The cats took to him very quickly, (even the shyest one!) and when I got home I could tell they were happy and well taken care of while I was gone. Their water was filled and their litterbox was clean. He was responsible and kept my place looking exactly as I left it. I would recommend him to any cat owners, especially those nervous about leaving them with a stranger the first time. I'll be using Clayton again!
Clayton did a wonderful job with my dog Ophelia. He boarded her for the day while I had workers in my home. Ophelia was very excited to leave with Clayton. Clayton was timely in his responses with me.
