I have been around animals all of my life. Not only have I had pet dogs and cats, but I ride horses and have worked at a barn since I was fourteen. The barn had horses, dogs and cats that I would help care for. I currently work at Hopewell Veterinary Group. Working here has offered me the opportunity to learn about all types of animals. I was enrolled in a two year program during my junior and senior year of high school that focused on animal science. It was a very hands-on program that prepared me for a future with animals. During those two years I learned about animal anatomy, diseases, symptoms of illnesses, how to administer medicines, whether oral or injection among many other topics. I have a wealth of experience and patience with all types of animals and believe I would be a great fit for this opportunity.
