We offer dog boarding in a warm, relaxed atmosphere. My husband is retired and while your dog stays with us one or both of us will be here nearly all the time. The exception is that on Sunday mornings we both will be away from home for about three hours as we attend church together. We will discuss with you options for working this situation out during stays that include a Sunday. Our years of experience caring for our own pets, which have mainly been large dogs, enable us to give your pet the kind of care he or she deserves. Our grandchildren are frequently with us. They love dogs! Before hosting your dog(s) we'll have a meet and greet at our home, so young your dog can get comfortable with "home away from home." We normally host only one dog at a time, but we will accept two if they are in the same family. For exercise we walk dogs around our neighborhood or to the adjacent park. We also can have a game of fetch in the backyard. In summer we set up a baby pool for dogs who enjoy water play.
