Pet care experience
I am an animal-loving veterinary assistant, currently studying to become a veterinary technician. I am also a part-time university Spanish professor. I have 6 years of combined experience working with pets on a professional level in the veterinary hospital setting and on a more fun-filled level in their homes. I enjoy meeting new pets and genuinely love spending time with them and providing exceptional love and care for them. I treat all the pets I care for as if they were my own. I am able to administer medications, perform blood glucose readings, and fluid therapy along with general care. I have taken care of many of the dogs, cats and other pets for the clients I serve in the hospital setting. I can feed, bathe, walk and provide in-home pet/house sitting for my clients.

A typical day
I love going on nice long walks with the dogs I care for. I am a huge fan of dog walking near dog-friendly beaches and scenic areas like Balboa Park, Shelter Island, Mission Bay park and night walks on the Mission Beach Boardwalk.

Availability
I am currently working part-time as a Spanish professor and am free Monday through Friday after 2 pm for walks and check-ins. I also have weekend availabilities as well. I am open to in-home pet/house sitting.
