If you find yourself in need of a sitter for your pup or kitty, I'm your lady! After 11 years of caring for 2 beautiful Maltese I adopted at age 12, my girls have passed on. Despite this loss, I still have so much love to give away and would be honored to care for the fur babies of my neighborhood. The energy they share with us is the best feeling in the world, in my opinion. I am very flexible in terms of scheduling (especially after the fall semester is over). I am more than happy to adhere to the needs of each individual client and their pet/s. Feel free to contact me and most importantly, let me brighten up your fur baby's day!

I would absolutely recommend Claudia ! My family and I go upstate every few weekends and she is always available to watch our pets. A very kind person with a genuine love for animals. She also walks my dogs every week, her energy is awesome.
I have 2 golden retrievers and 1 mini poodle. They are my whole world. So you can imagine how sad I get when I have to go away for business trips. Thankfully, Claudia has always been there to take care of my dogs. I have dropped them off at her house and she has spent a few nights at my house with them while I was away. Not only can I tell my dogs have been taken care of properly, I also come home to a clean house. Sometimes I wonder if they love her more than me!
Claudia has been taking care of my dogs since she was a child. Her passion for animals has always made her my go-to pet sitter. She has been especially reliable whenever any of my dogs needed to be given medication. You can depend on her to feed at proper times, be interactive during walks and notice sudden changes in a pet's mood. All of my animals are always excited to see her whenever she walks through the door. They know they are in for a fun, entertaining day. Claudia is also great when it comes to updates and has sent me multiple pictures of my pups throughout the day. I can't think of anyone better to care for my babies.

Information Claudia L. would like to know about your pet
I have no breed preferences, I love all dogs regardless of shape and size. I would like to know what their feeding schedule is, whether or not they are allowed to have treats, how often they should typically be let out to do business, where they enjoy going on walks, what their favorite toys are and anything I shouldn't do that could potentially disgruntle the pup. I would certainly like to know a bit about their personality, whether they are male/female, how old they are and any medications that I would need to give them. I am mainly interested in what makes the dog happy and what rules owners expect fur babies to follow.
A typical day
We can either go on walks within my own neighborhood (Islip, NY), within the client's own neighborhood, a designated park or beach, or wherever owners would prefer. I like to familiarize myself with a pup's favorite toys and am willing to participate in any of their favorite games. Play time gives pets the opportunity to become truly comfortable with me. As long as I'm aware of what each individual pet likes to do throughout the day, I'm more than willing to join in the fun. Especially if they enjoy performing tricks for treats!
