Pet care experience
I've had animals as forever pets my whole life. I've trained puppies and lovingly doted on senior dogs. I am a retired teacher who has all the time needed to make your pet feel safe, loved, and happy. No request is too much :-) Does your pup like apple slices while taking a bath? No problem! I have no grandchildren, so all that "Grandma TLC" goes straight to your pet! My prices are inline with institutional pet care that place your pet in a kennel and charge for playtime, belly rubs, and photos…all free and in abundance with me! Although you’ll find cheaper sitters on this site, what I offer is superior in space, quality, and attention. Your dog will never be shut away in a room, crated, etc. I’ve sat up all night with first/time anxious dogs. You get what you pay for….why skimp on your pets? Rover takes 20% of my pay, so I receive $48 for 24 hrs. That 1/2 of “Doggie Day Care” places that are noisy and your pet is one of many. My price is fair deal considering the quality of care your fur baby is receiving!

Claudia is the best Rover host I’ve had! She is super sweet and welcoming! She sent pictures and videos of my pup throughout and communicated well! I felt very comfortable leaving him and picked up a very happy and comfortable pup! 10/10 recommend!
Claudia truly goes above and beyond! There is no one I would trust more to watch my dog than her! She engaged with our dog, played games, snuggled, walked, set up her splash pad and gave my dog Baylor her full attention. She consistently updated us with videos and pictures so I knew Baylor was safe and in good hands. During our meet and greet, she took the time to really understand Baylor’s routine and wanted to make sure he was as comfortable as possible. Her home is clean and she has a great fenced backyard for playtime. Not only is Claudia amazing with dogs, but she is a really sweet and kind person. Thank you Claudia for taking such great care of Baylor, we are so grateful!
Claudia is amazing! She is flexible, dependable and highly responsive. She took care of my senior dog and administered his daily meds. She sent me constant updates, each day with pictures and really cute texts. I would recommend her to anyone that asks. I will definitely book with her again!

I have a tiled-floor, single-story home with a large fenced-in yard with grass. When the weather is pleasant, we can play outside (or lounge outside) for hours if your baby enjoys that! I have two dogs of my own. One who keeps his distance on my bed until he feels comfortable with a new friend. Teddy is more cat-like and will not disturb your dog at all. There is also Charlie if your dog likes a sweet playmate; check out their photos and bio on my profile. We can also explore my quiet neighborhood on a walk, or go to the park and watch the geese. I do not take my clients to the dog parks. Safety is paramount and there are unpredictable factors there that I am not willing to risk while your dog is under my care.

I believe in establishing achievable and positively-reinforcing expectations, and those should be tailored to each pet. Your pet’s ease and comfort and important to me. I will take the time to establish trust with your pet. I have a great deal of patience; this served me well as a teacher for decades and now it benefits your pet!
A typical day
I enjoy observing your pet to learn what makes them happy. Cozy naps on the couch together or playing fetch? Leisurely strolls or playing games? Being with your pet won't be a chore for me; seriously, I will treat your pet as my grand baby! I also have a variety of brain games to keep them occupied!

I am a retired teacher and a homebody; I have all the time in the world to watch your baby. I don't party, I don't have many visitors, and I am home every evening. Your pet will never be lonely or lacking love and attention! I am here for you 7 days a week!
