I have never had a day in my life without a dog and I understand how difficult it is to leave them when you go away, even if it is for just the day or a night. At our house we only have one dog guest at a time so that we can fully ensure they are cared for, loved and feel secure and happy. We include any dog guests as part of the family whilst following guidelines from their owners. This is a laid back, friendly, happy home with no stresses or dramas and just lots of fun and time dedicated to our own dogs and our guest dogs. We enjoy taking them for walks around Milton Keynes or to the woods. The safety of your dog is paramount and in our small garden there is no way for them to get out and on walks we would never let them off the lead. Please get in touch to talk through your requirements. One thing is guaranteed, your dog will be as loved in our home as it is in yours ❤️ I work full time so can only care for dogs at present at weekends. Friday drop offs at our home after five thirty (though I can be flexible in this if need be as I work part time from home) and Sunday evening pick ups with times to be agreed as to your needs. My garden is small but fenced in and gated, there is no escape route! Our home is comfortable, warm, relaxing and dog friendly and I will ensure that your dog is settled and cared for to make his or her stay as happy and stress free as possible. We don't mind dogs being on the sofa and will have them sleep in the lounge or even in our bedroom if that is what they are used to. We wouldn't leave your dog alone at any time during their stay and walks would always be on the lead. I have years of experience with doggy ailments so can deal with anything minor and would always contact you and take to the vets if there were any more serious concerns. Claudia and her family took care of Luna over Christmas, and I couldn't have asked for a better dog-sitting experience! Luna was welcomed into their family home and I received regular updates on how happy and settled she was during her stay. I highly recommended Claudia for quality pup-care and will be requesting her help again when I'm back in that area. ?
Claudia was fantastic with our 16 week old Vizla . Couldn’t recommend her highly enough She kept us updated as it was the first time we had left him . He certainly kept them on their toes as being so young I would definitely be using her again

I will always have a good chat over the phone initially with anyone who wishes for us to care for their dog. Please allow half an hour so we can cover all bases as when you drop off your dog it can be easy to forget things. I will want to know about their likes and dislikes and any odd habits or behaviours, their food routine and any illnesses I should be aware of. I like to know a bit about their personalities and what makes them happy and what is normal for them on a daily basis to ensure that their stay is stress free and happy. I will also need contact details for the owners but also an emergency number too. Ideally a meet and greet locally should be arranged first so that we can get to know your dog a little before they come and stay. I will send regular updates on your dog while he or she stays with us, I tend to use whattsapp to do this but can also send messages via social media or email if wanted.
A typical day
We want this to be a home from home from home for our dog guests so lots of cuddles and play time are just part of the normal day to day activities here. We also love going for walks either round the lakes here in Milton Keynes or up to the woods at Woburn where we like to let Kobe and Phoebe run free. Phoebe doesn't come on all our walks as she is 14 so we choose what type of walk we do depending on the energy levels of those taking part.
