Pet care experience
As a pet owner myself I know the importance of being able to put your pet in trusted hands. I have over 10 years of experience working with dogs and cats. While I am currently employed as a researcher at the University of Florida, I have worked as veterinary technician, kennel supervisor at a boarding facilty, and volunteered for several animal shelters and non-profit organizations that provide low-cost veterinary services to low-income households. I also proudly carry the title "foster fail" from the Alachua County Humane Society.

Claudia is the best! Went on a few day trip, it was the first time leaving my baby Bruiser so I was very nervous. Very professional, allowed a last minute accommodation. Sent pictures and so nice! My old lady slept at her house and did not cry all night like she does with some other sitters because shes an anxious old lady. So grateful to have found a responsible and professional pet sitter to help with watching my little one!
Maddie is quite picky about who she loves, but she clearly loves Claudia!

I would love to welcome your pet to my apartment, it has an open floor plan with big windows that surely will keep your pup or kitty entertained. My apartment complex is dog friendly with a fence yard to play. Should your pup require lots of exercise, I am located right on the Hawthorne trail that's tons of fun to take a long walk on.

A typical day
I would love to take your dog on a walk through my neighborhood. My apartment complex has a nice dog park we can go play at if your dog enjoys the company of other canines, and play a game of fetch. Because to be honest I probably enjoy it just as much as your pup. Nestled in my neighborhood are several parks and one I especially enjoy going to with a pond. Early in the morning and in the late afternoon it is the perfect place to stroll around, and enjoy watching the birds.
