Pet care experience
I’ve always had dogs but my current partner doesn’t understand the joy-yet. The children love dogs too. Happy to help with walks and house sitting, with some boarding until we have a bigger home to have our own dogs. In the past I’ve owned a Siberian husky, a lurcher, black Labrador and greyhound cross. I’ve also worked at a vet for a period of time and am familiar with many breeds. Although we currently have a cat he’s pretty feral and spends most of his time sat on the roof of the shed or skulking around the neighbourhood. We’re also next to stoke park and a playing field so can walk anytime... we are mainly free at the weekends but can do during the week also. Thank you!

We have a gated garden on a safe street. When providing daycare we treat doggies as though they were our own. We allow exploration of the home and show them around the rooms so that they can become comfortable then usually go for a short walk straightaway to provide some enjoyment. If attending your home I try to do as you would do, making sure that I’m aware of any specific information.

Information Claudia F. would like to know about your pet
It would be important to know whether they are comfortable with children. My youngest is 4 and loves dogs. If so then we will happily run them ragged for you and return them tired but contented. If they are not comfortable with children that is also fine, I will just walk them/visit on my own, but would need to decline boarding requests. It would be useful to know of any fears they might have, if they are toilet trained, any allergies/dietary requirements and if they are comfortable around other dogs/people. A handover of their behaviour on a lead would also be helpful.
A typical day
We are spoilt for choice for walks to go on. Walking in the woods and the Surrey downs would be the usual, with walks further afield or whilst cycling if they were able. Happy for them to accompany me when jogging too.

I’m currently working from home and around most days. At the weekends it varies but if we have canine company we bring them along for the ride.
