Hi there! I’m Clarissa and I have been involved in pet specialty for the past 6 years. I have 6 animals that are all very different — Fur, feathers, and scales! I am also involved in AKC Sports with my dogs and we love being active and eating healthy. We frequently attend obedience classes and are always looking for an opportunity to train with others! I believe that each stay should be tailored to your dog or cat’s individualized needs. I would love to share my homemade dog treats (and Frozen Kongs) with your pup and will always provide daily enrichment for them. Besides having a passion for animal health and well being, I am also very passionate about animal dietary needs! Please let me know if you think (or know) that your dog or cat has any food sensitivities or environmental allergies so that we can talk about a way to provide them with some relief! I am willing to administer any and all types of medication. I also have no problem with feeding raw and have experience in doing so if that is what your dog/cat is used to being fed. I am willing to work with any schedule and am VERY understanding that sometimes life happens and things pop up! I have been both house-sitting and dog-sitting for the past 6 years and will ALWAYS treat your furry friends and your home like my very own. Clarissa is awesome!! We have a type A senior dog with anxiety and in the short time Nike and Clarissa have been walking together he’s already smitten. She is patient, kind and loving, and we feel very fortunate to have found Clarissa and Rover!
Clarissa was amazing!! She was able to take my dog on a great 60 minute walk even with only a few hours notice. She loved on my pup and took a lot of great photos so I was knew what they were up to. Your fur babies are safe with Clarissa!
Clarissa was absolutely wonderful! We are new pup parents and were very nervous about crate training our puppy with our hectic work schedules. Clarissa made time to come meet our little guy, answered all of our questions, and made sure we felt 100% comfortable with leaving him while at work. During her visit, she did everything asked and made sure he was nice and comfy, and taken care of before going back into his crate. We got the BEST update afterwards and it was so heartwarming looking at the photos of the visit and knowing exactly how many times he used the bathroom/ate/drank water. I would 100% recommend Clarissa for anyone looking to have their pup in good, loving hands while they’re away and we will definitely be using her again in the future!
Clarissa is wonderful. She was willing to take out the crazy pup, and was willing to work with her on her leash etiquette when I couldn't. She really cares for Freyja and only wants the best for her.
