Pet care experience
Hello everyone! My Name is Clarissa. I live in Lancaster with my husband and our beautiful three year old dog, Farrah. I've been a life long dog lover and grew up with several different dogs at home. I currently work at a local veterinary clinic's pet resort. I have experience with dogs of all different breeds, sizes and ages. I can fulfill all you and your pets needs for drop-ins, feedings, walks, sittings, play time and joyful companionship. I also have experience with administering basic medications to dogs including eye drops, ear drops, nose drops, sprays, ointments and insulin. My availability is Monday through Friday afternoons and evenings and occasional weekends with enough notice in advance. I was very skeptical at first having someone come into my house and walk my 2 dogs for me while I worked late, but I'm so glad I chose Clarissa. Clarissa was very polite, hardworking and trustworthy. She communicated all necessary information to me during and after her visit. My dogs were in good hands and seemed to like her very much. She even took time out of her day to come meet them first. I supervise Clarissa at the busy pet resort we work for. She is excellent with all dogs and cats and her work ethic is amazing. She is very caring, detail oriented, and has strong integrity. I would feel extremely comfortable leaving my animals in her care!

Clarissa is great with dogs. I'm good friends with her husband, Alex, and every time the two of them come to our house, she spends all of her time playing with our husky, who absolutely loves her. I'm extremely picky with who I let watch my husky, but I would have absolutely no concerns with her taking care of him. Your pet will immediately fall in love with her.

Is your dog protective of their home and or family members? Is your dog on any medications? Do they get along with other dogs? Do they struggle with walking on a leash? Is your dog an escape artist? Do they have a history with chewing, swallowing or eating things other than food? Do they have any special dietary needs I should be aware of?
A typical day
I prefer to make sure that your loved one is comfortable and calm so I will take a walk with them wherever you would normally walk with them. I can arrange something different if you prefer after a relationship and trust is established. Play time can consist of fetch, light jogs, treat hunts, toy tugs or whatever you prefer.
