Pet care experience
I have always had animals growing up. Since I can remember there was always at least one dog and one cat in our house and typically more than one of each. I love all animals and just want to share the love. I have experience volunteering at shelters and plenty of experience caring for dogs, cats, and all other animals! I am currently in the process of applying and interviewing to be a Humane Society Animal Rescue Volunteer. I am a teacher and work from 8:30 until 3:30 daily but can do walks before and after school. My fiancé, Mike, teaches high school and can be home earlier as well. I have no kids of my own and our 2 cats are obsessed with Mike so would be more than willing to travel and do boarding in your home if needed. I'm really looking for your help to convince my fiancé to fall in love with dogs and hopefully inspire him to get a dog of our own some day so thanks in advance!

Couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! She made sure Maverick was well taken care of and sent me the best pictures. They even had a little pool day in the backyard and Maverick was 10/10 pumped about it!

I will treat your pet as if they were my own (and most likely I’ll fall in love with them so much I’ll wish they were). We live in an older house with natural dividers between some rooms so the cats can be kept separated if you choose boarding and would rather not stress your pet out with new animal introductions. I am also 100% comfortable with staying at your home if that would be the best fit for your pets. Sometimes with the stress of mom or dad leaving, having them on their own turf gives them a little more comfort. I love going for walks but I’m also not opposed to just cuddling on the couch together. Generally…. Whatever works for your pet is what I will make work for me.

Absolutely no breed preferences or personality preferences. I have volunteered in shelters and seen it all so I am more than comfortable with all breeds and personalities. I’d just love to know basic routines and needs your animal has as I love to keep it as consistent as possible while you’re gone. Whatever I can do to make your animal more comfortable is my top priority.
A typical day
I love hiking and walking. I typically go for walks on my own or with my boyfriend since it's not socially acceptable to take my cats on walks (not to mention they aren't fans of it) so I would love a dog to come along!

My fiancé and I are both teachers. I work from 8:30 until 3:45 and he works from 7:30 until 3 most days. Besides that, taking care of your fur children would be a priority. Luckily our cats are very independent. They also are both complete daddy girls so they don’t mind my attention being taken away.
