Hi! I’m Clare! I moved to Chicago 3 years ago and have since been taking care of the city's pups. I have years of skill with my loving, yet aging, Golden Doodle from home, my own pup Moose, and have routinely walked and sitted others’ dogs for over 8 years. I have a very flexible schedule with plenty of time each day to take care of your dog, including weekends. I’m willing to run, walk, and play with any size or age of dog, and am comfortable with any sort of energy level!

Clare took great care of my 3 month old puppy during a 9 hour house visit. She was very communicative, arrived and left on time, and most importantly left my lil guy tired out and happy from a full day of play and attention. Clare followed my instructions precisely and adhered to the puppy’s established routine. She left my apartment in good shape and I’ll definitely return to her for future puppy care needs!
Would highly recommend Clare. It was wonderful meeting her and our dog felt comfortable with her so quickly. Great communication skills and clearly amazing with animals. Will definitely want to work with Clare again in the future!

My apartment is a walk up on the first floor with a fenced backyard right outside. Pets are allowed on the furniture to ensure the most comfortable environment I can provide. I give full attention to each dog I sit, taking them on long walks around the neighborhood, to the park to casually meet some pups, or even dog parks/beach if requested. Anything I can do to make you and your dog feel better, I will gladly do!

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or dietary restrictions, doesn't play well with other dogs (or humans!), etc. I'm flexible in caring for any pup as long as I have time to prepare.
A typical day
I love to keep each dog stimulated and active to the best of their abilities. I can take pups individually on long walks around the neighborhood, to the park to casually meet some pups, or even dog parks/beach if requested... Anything I can do to make you and your dog feel better, I will gladly do!

I work a hybrid, flexible schedule and my office is close to home. This is great for the pups - I’m available at any time of day, and can adjust work to better fit the needs of your pet.
