Pet care experience
I am 26 years old and I just moved to Washington after grad school! With my new work schedule, I have every other week off, and I'd love to fill that time with your pets! I have personally owned many dogs, rabbits, and reptiles; I have had a passion for animals ever since I was a kid. I have cared for lots of animals of all types and sizes, with all different needs and attention through Rover and Care. I am comfortable with training, medication (pills, injections, and eye/ear drops) as well as sticking to your pet's familiar schedule. I am confident that I can make your pet as comfortable as possible while you are away, and I'll enjoy every minute of it! Bonus: I'd love to do light housekeeping, water your plants and get your mail for you while you're away! Let's set up an interview!

Clara watched our elderly dog for us while we were a longer trip. She was very professional! She met with us before we made a decision on a dog sitter (we knew we were going with her when we met her?) and before we left to go over meds. She did a great job keeping in contact while we were gone. And that gave us a great deal of relief! We will be choosing Clara next year if she is not booked!
Our dog has a new BFF!!! Clara did an awesome job and left our home in excellent condition after the week she watched our big baby girl. We will definitely book with Clara again, our dog insists!

A typical day
Other than animals, my biggest hobby is adventuring! I love going on all of the backpacking trips that I can fit into my schedule! That being said, I have a dog-friendly SUV, and I'd love to take your doggies on hikes and walks in nearby parks :)

I work night shift for the US Army Corps of Engineers and for my fall/winter schedule I'm on shift every other week. I'm not allowed to have pets in my new apartment, so I'd love to spend my off-weeks with yours!
